I posted about it in the other thread.
My theory (and this is just me talking shyt, i really don't know, just my interpretation of the album) is that Tory was never in a relationship with Meg. He was actually with the best friend. If you listen to the album through that lense, it kinda adds up. Some lines are directed at Meg, some at the best friend. I think they all went to the party, they are all fukked up. Tory moving on Kylie, the best friend gets mad because she feels disrespected but can't do shyt about it because she sees kylie as more powerful. So she leaves. Meg is riding for her best friend. Checks Tory about it. They all leave together, still fukked up off alcohol and who knows what else. Still arguing. Best friend grabs the gun, there is a struggle, bullet maybe grazes Meg. They try to get to the hospital, they get arrested. Tory shuts up, Meg wants to protect her friend so she makes up the glass story. Following the investigation, they get proof of bullet fragment so the police puts pressure on Meg. So she goes on live the first time saying "someone i care about shot me". Everyone is thinking Tory but at the same time she's sending a message to her best friend to fall in line. Her and the best friend agree to get their story straight, the best friend goes to the police and makes a statement against Tory. And only then does Meg go on Live the second time and names Tory. Tory keeps mentioning on the album i can't believe you made a statement to the police against me. But Meg kept saying she never made statements. Assuming both things are true, it means someone else made the statement. That's why he keeps saying she could still come back despite the betrayal.
Again this a pure

and fanfiction im making up. But if you listen to the album from that perspective, it kinda adds up. He's not telling Meg to come back. He's telling the other girl how could you do this to me, yeah i fukked up with kylie (sorry, i was drunk) but you dont get a nikka back like that! Now Meg is stuck in her lie.
