I'm still in awe of Mook's performance tbh. He literally stole fam's battle rap crown.
He made it where nobody will ever mention Iron battle again. In fact I could see some revisionist history happening and people calling his Solomon performance classic.
this event was average. should not have been amped up the way it was 
The change from Iron Solomon to Lux was the most drastic jump in quality of performance that I've ever seen in battle rap. But dudes gotta chill. Be a fan not a Stan lol.

Probably prepping yea. I ain't gonna lie when I saw the du rag, I actually expected nothing but flabby n sick raps. I couldn't have been more wrong.
He completely validated the point he was making on Twitter and everywhere else after the Solomon battle. He forms his rounds to fit his opponent and breaks them down. The Solomon battle suffered in quality because he didn't have many great angles and it was too long, but he still had a clear victory. Even if the battle was terrible, a lot of that was because he had to spread it over 25 minutes and there isn't much ammo to hit Iron with.
I thought he got lucky then because Solomon was so bad, but it's clear he'll break down any opponent he's in there with. Maybe it's reactionary, but I don't think anyone except Charlie Clips has a chance to clearly beat him, because Clips doesn't ever seem to get rattled, can keep up with any style, be lyrical, and clown Mook at the same time. I even think Mook would destroy Math and turn the whole gun/staples situation against him and body him, and that's without the Dizaster angle.
I read some people call for Hollow vs. Mook on Twitter, but I'd take Mook there. I can't say Hollow, because he'd probably drop the ball in the first, take some weird angles that won't work, and end up down 2-0 before he realizes it. And that's coming from a Big fan of Hollow. He's got a lot to prove against Clips.
This was extremely underwhelming.
That big of a crowd and the small possibility the crowd might not rock with clips...

yo im skimming thru this thread and this whole shyt seems like it was PURE fukkery 
Mooks in a transition stage, he's still wack 2004 smack mook and trying to update his style to the modern era.

Next event need to be four minute rounds or the same. Main events maybe longer or as they were but give em some room to flex with it with the crowd reaction and basically let mofos get their shyt off. People on stage in the back just cuz it looks better.
Some mofos that aren't corny and that actually know about the culture talking/judging although Royce was fine to me. And please.... Please tell Sway to stop calling a round a rebuttal. And fixing the steaming of course. Keep it a stage not a ring make it half a circle if you want. Looks better on cam and adds energy. Maybe stick to a slightly smaller venue. Summer Madness 2 stage should be the max. It felt too impersonal in regards to the stage itself and the more intimate the setting the better experience for all imo. The organization was good.
One last critique.... Why can't mofos do sound checks already? Something to keep things running smoothly. I know it's easy for me to say, but still. The tech is there to have things running smoothly.
