Lux has battled 2 of the top 5 best battle rappers, losing one with the other debatable.. i see a lot of members on here excited at a Lux loss.. like he wouldnt give that work to every other battler (Clips included)..

room = underground

once you hit that stage, you have to be able to entertain & dumb yourself down

that is why I'm curious to see who actually signed to the URL. I know they got ILL Will, Boom, & Prez. All those guys are performers. Did they sign Ty Law, who isn't much of a performer?

I watched a shytty stream, so I'mma have to watch all these battles again, & I'm not really in a rush to do so.

I watched a little bit of Lux/Mook 2 at lunch today. This is one of the weirdest battles I've ever seen. Mook was his usual self (this nygga is the san antonio spurs of battle rap), had all these dry spots, but he had the crowd because he was easier to understand. Lux has a huge problem. If his opponent can at least match him, the consensus is he loses the battle. He's such a phenomenal rapper, that if a nygga can match him doing what they do, it's like a surprise to the typical fan imo.

I feel like URL is definitely signing performers over lyricists and some are good enough with bars thats its cool and I get it but certain dudes like Prez and Boom and now Dot is the worst like leave these nikkaz alone I understand they perform but they either dont got bars or they reach like crazy.

I really think Lux choked in both the 2nd and 3rd because his bars fell off, I didnt really think they were any harder to understand than his first round which was dope, if anything they were easier to understand than anything hes said since his comeback. Plus there were certain bars that were about shyt that happened at the event,. I mean it still rhymed and wasnt awful but we just dont think lux can freestyle but it felt like his bars were way different after certain points in the 2nd and 3rd. plus him saying " if you freetyle that means you losing " and " did lux really choke on stage" even him saying the mook shyt about 116 to 911 yeah an average battler might say that but lux would never write that shyt its too basic. also mentioning days draws and saying his old line about cutting into nikkaz times. I think when certain shyt didnt get a reaction due to the casual fan in the building he fukked up. he may have even remembered bars here and there but not his whole round. I think if this battle happened on URL or UW with a Lux gassing crowd he probably gets through all his rounds and maybe wins

Mook is clearly just grinding out wins he dont care how dry he is but he was better than vs Iron plus it was only three rounds that helped too

Arsonal clearly catered to the mainstream, Ive heard some people say this was Ars best thats bullshyt, his best is either shotty horroh, calicoe or QP recently. You cant compare that jokey shyt he did to those battles but like I said I know why he did it

Clips basically said the same thing on PMG radio. He was saying more people think Hollow beat Lux only because all you have to do is simply match Lux or stay with him and people are going to say you won.

PMG is slept on. I'll admit I only heard a couple of episodes. The audio is clear. You don't have nyggas talking over each other. Much more professional than these other podcast out.

I think ars is a dope rapper but he's a pretty mediocre lyricist when it comes to what he's actually saying. He doesn't have stand out bars until recently he's starting to say a few more clever things.
