I go to Vegas at least once a year, but I can understand some of the reasons for the decline.

Food and gambling costs outpacing wage growth

More/improving casinos across the US

Bullshyt "resort fees"

Anyways, it's still a fun way to spend a couple of days. I'll be there in September

Why was it unbearable?
Heat. in 2019 I went out there for the WNBA all star game with my home girl and my wifey.

besides the heat. It was crowded af. You couldn’t drive at all. I will never buy a rental car if ever go

i couldnt complain about prices really in 2019. I had a timeshare deal in a dope ass bluegreen resort for 4 days $100.

i guess you should never do Vegas with your girl. shyt was boring af. I don’t even gamble in my own city. shyt felt like nothing for me to do there outside of the game

I went to UNLV

And even before that we would be up in Vegas several times a year growing up. I don’t think I’ve been to the 702 going on three or four years now.

And my pops lives out there now
How were the females at UNLV? I strongly considered applying.

If Vegas cut those stupid resort fees and had affordable food on the strip things would pick-up. But they overcharge for everything, drinks, uber, parking and it goes on. Can't nickel and dime people and expect them to keep coming back.

The Truth
Boomers and generation x who stayed in casino’s burning money from tables to sports events are gone as well as mafia/gangs who used to do dirt there is gone

New technology has came in and also Vegas has become literally low budget motherfukkers destination now

Miami might be feeling the pain next
Nah

Miami got women, beaches, and weather… and beaches everywhere. Basically an island vibe for tourists

But it has been a long time since I been back though. South Beach might be dying so idk

Just got back from there a few weekends ago. Flamingo pool party and NBA Summer League :ahh:

I know a lot of people hate Vegas but I love it, we always have a great time. I can definitely understand why tourism would be declining though, we ALWAYS spend a grip there. Hard to find tables under $25 minimums on the strip, mixed drinks are $25 each, rooms getting more expensive and they stingier with the comps, restaurants more expensive.

People just ain't got it in this economy.
but you do

:ohhh:
