Boomers aren't gone, they just aren't spending money like that right now. We had a few years of increasing inflation where US consumption/spending was still through the roof. Driven largely by explosions in buying shyt online (Door Dash, Amazon, etc). 2021-2023 was heavy spending and then 2024 hit and shyt started to decline. The splurging is slowing down heavy.

I went to vegas back in 2012. They didn't charge anybody for parking. I assumed it was because they expected to get that money back at the tables.

Vegas is the armpit of western civillation. Last Time I was there was 5 years ago for a meeting…walking the streets at night was like entering the 5th circle of hell, too many people, the weed smoke and the oppressive heat. Never again.
