Actually the sista is not saying she isn't black. Ellen one of the folks on here who dont play that game.

She is refering to her real last name and how she only uses her moms maiden last name to help herself be noticed.
not talking about her. talking about the coli militants

This is really why she doing this. She and her costars got fukked on girlfriends. They took pay cuts then they asked them to take pay cuts again and they held out then cancelled the show. So she out here trying to get paid. She just need to leave anthony name out her mouth.
I consider Girlfriends cancellation karma for the way they turned on Jill Marie Jones(who is is still fine btw).

she should make as much as Anthony.

The show is literally as much his, as it is, hers.

:usure::patrice:

Anthony Anderson:
Helped developed Black-ish along with the shows main creator (Kenya Barris)
Executive Producer of Black-ish
Lead Actor of Black-ish

Tracee Ellis Ross:
Lead Actress of Black-ish

Looks like both you & Tracee Ellis Ross Silberstein's math is completely off :mjlol:

That's what bothered me about the situation with Mark Walberg and Michelle Williams

Do you really know what that whole issue was about though? She wasn't asking to get paid the same. The problem was, what they got paid for the extensive reshoots after Kevin Spacey was fired was utterly ridiculous. Especially given they had pretty much equal screen time.

To put things in perspective....

Wahlberg got an initial $1.5M to appear in the film, meanwhile Williams got about $600K. Okay that's fine and no one really cried about that.

The problems arose after Spacey was dropped and they both had to do substantial reshoots with the new actor (Christopher Plummer). Like I said, they had almost equal screen time, meanwhile Mark Wahlberg was paid roughly $800K for this whereas Michelle Williams received a whopping $1,000. That's a big problem breh no matter how you look at it.

Yea when I read that originally I thought it was a typo and she was given 100k it something.

$1000 is crazy. She should have FIRED her agent immediately

From my understanding Mark was willing to walk away from the project. The studio knew this and gave him the bag. If Mark walked the movie is torpedoed like it or not hes top 5 A list movie star. The chick couldve walked and no one wouldve noticed

That means nothing to the white feminists who put the battery in her back :heh:
This isn’t about white feminists putting a battery in her back tho. This is about her trying to be like white women. Even the story reporting this says that this all came about after she read about the mark whalberg situation. This reveals that ross has pledged her allegiance to her gender above her race. This is the point that I was making yesterday in that other thread about Monique @Anarchy

SOME black women will throw black men under the bus crying wolf about sexism and fake black male privilege just for their own personal gain. Monique and Tracy are pulling the exact same stunt. They’re using black men to make false claims about sexism just to benefit themselves individually. It’s despicable sell out behavior when you really think about but people just like to dismiss that angle.

Like others have pointed out, if those reported salaries for the show are accurate the the whole blackish cast is being underpaid. Why would she single out her black cast mate when she doesn’t even have the same responsibility to the show as he does, instead of pointing out the racism that has their whole cast being underpaid? Black men are the low hanging fruit for black women who want to take advantage.
