They look like a 500 team. Looking at their numbers now they are middle of the pack on both sides of the ball with a 13-9 record once Trae went down. Trades are allowed starting today but I don't think they are moving him.
2 years ago Trae was a monster offensively and was one of the top impact players on O in the league. He's slipped since. If they don't think he can return to form and don't want to extend him - trade everyone not named JJ and Okongwu and see what you can do. I don't think Atlanta can partially rebuild.
He makes sense for Milwaukee in a Giannis trade scenario. Trae would keep them relevant and somewhat competitive/entertaining.
