Mental illness is very "normal" as a lot of people are suffering from some type of mental illness. I guess my question is, if transgenderism were to be labeled a mental illness, how would that affect you, and others, calling for it to be categorized as such? Would people stop calling them "freaks," "abominations," "unnatural"? Would it allow you to feel sorry for them, and better tolerate them, from a place of privilege? That they would then be "mentally ill," and you would be "normal"?
