Shyts demonic and puts me in a bad mindset and overall mood. The content and the music go hand in hand. Its damn near impossible to rap about anything other than violence, drugs, etc over those type of beats.

This gospel song over a trap beat doesn't FEEL right to me:

Gospel and trap beats should remain as far away from each other as possible. They're polar opposites of each other. One is meant to uplift your spirit while the other is meant to destroy it.

Precisely. When Mary Mary did "God in Me', it really didn't move me as much as to say "Shakles". Trap music will forever be laced with the ills of the world and it should be that way. You can't add life to such a destructive sound. It goes back to what I was saying about the whole future sound wave, it still laces the elements that makes music such a unique platform. Trust, we grew up on G Funk and all types of theme beats that had a certain theme to them, but the difference with those type of beats and trap is that the sound feels more lively. I can't picture a dude trying to breakdance all of Mask Off:gucci:.

Sometimes, I feel like everything is going to hell...even hip hop:wow:.

everyone is on it more than ever now, so it def seems stale and played, but for me, its still a case by case basis. i hear alot of shyt that is yawn worthy

i still love a hard ass trap beat, with a rapper sayin some dope shyt over it

but now all you need is some cool adlibs, some beats and a social media following and youre a trap rapper

its become much more disposable cuz everyone is doing it. maybe the bubble will pop soon and it'll be the wave to start rapping on shyt thats not just a trap beat.

you mean the ppl who wanna stay zonked out on lean and pills. Yeah they have no time, or ability to think.

"Wha you meee by dat liiine? Oh I don unnastand it.....so it corny"

There has always been "microwave" rappers and there always will be

What I'm saying is that artist put an emphasis on delivery, flows, Adlibs, melody and quotables instead of trying to force some clever lines that through off the vibe of the song

Anybody can sit down and write double entendres, metaphors and multis but that's no their goal when making music
