I mean, more and more people are turning away from trap music. Not the same for the other way around. Only a matter of time before there is a full-blown rebel that will take advantage of people's disgusts and turn the industry around. Trap peaked in popularity in 2013 and it has been going downhill steadily since.

I think mumble rap is getting stale trap beats with someone ACTUALLY rapping on them in my opinion is GOAT level.

You cant tell me KDot,Sean, and Drake dont be killing trap beats and them shyts feel fresh.

Same thing with Nas,Jada,Fab and Busta on Khaleds project shyt sounded:ohlawd:.

I just think it depends whos on the track.

You don't even respect Jeezy himself. Or TI. How can you convince another non-trap listener to become a fan when you diss and degrade the pioneers of the sub-genre? :hhh:

:gucci: I fukks with Jeezy and Tip is probably a top 15 rapper of all time to me

fukk is you talking bout? We just randomly making up alternative facts now? :why:

And you think that History never repeats itself? :stopitslime:

Trap is beginning to sound like country music to many people's ears. Its predictable, tired, repetitive, and stagnant.
as long as these trap rappers are still in high demand all over these clubs in America they aren't going anywhere, you have people like dolph who are 100% inde getting 30k a show and doing 3-4 shows a week.

Trap music is puts off mad negative vibes and the reason I know this as a fact was when I was overseas in Thailand one time at a beach and the girls wanted me to play some American music..

I was playing some pop shyt and then all of a sudden a future song came on and I could just feel the energy there collectively shift from :stylin:to :scusthov:

Even I felt weird listening to future as I hardly heard rap music for some time at that point.

Rap/trap has a time and place..i really only listen to it when driving at night after a long day to help spice up the trip home..

Other than that :camby:

It ain't gonna last forever. People who can't comprehend change or progression, or don't want it, will be the disgruntled oldheads that wonder why the youth don't like them.
