Rocnation management seems like money. Wale & Meek Mill's careers are thriving without really moving units. Every time I hear their names mentioned next to Drake or Kanye I laugh.

There's definitely nothing outrageous about thinking that Cube is better than Jay Z. Obviously Jay Z has been more popular, but as far as quality of discography and greatness as an mc it's debatable.

I don't mean to derail the thread but this has to be addressed. Cube having a better discog than Jay?? Cube's music sounds heavily outdated unless you grew up during that era and he's had a bunch of average albums to toot with his two classics. Jay has never made a forgettable album besides KC and BP2. 3 undeniable classics, Vol. 2, and American Gangster to go along with that. It is debatable over who's the better MC but not really in the fact that anyone who would put cube over jay on a GOAT list really has it out for jay as an artist. From my POV, it would be criminal to put anybody besides Nas, Big, Pac, and Big Daddy Kane over Jay on a greatest of all time list.

i don't know, i live in new york city so the answers i've mostly heard is RTD or illmatic as the GOAT album (i've practically heard the same outside of NYC though). but i've never heard an argument before that said cube's discog > jay's (including NWA).
