For some reason people fail to realize that NXT works because it’s small. It works specifically because it runs in front of a tiny group of fans and it operates as almost counter programming to what you see on Mondays and Fridays. It’s an inconsequential show where you can pretty much experiment and try anything specifically because stuff like tv ratings, ticket sales, merch sales and sponsorship dollars mean absolutely nothing to their bottom line.

If the mains were ran like NXT, I don’t think it would work out the way yall think lol. Triple H learned the hard way when he took over and had Johnny Gargano and Teagan Knox doing surprise returns to crickets. All the stuff that gets “Holy shyt” chants in front of 160 people on a college campus looks a lil different in front of 17 thousand people who paid to see Randy Orton
