Now next season, obviously the goal will be to lose as much as possible, but the ultimate goal is to win a title.

Steinbrenner done fukked up the mentality for everyone though. people just aren't comfortable with coming up short anymore.

That aint always on the coach even tho they are the scapegoat. Sometimes it's the owner who only cares about the bottom line or it could be the GM who doesn't pick up the right players.

You wanna know the teams who really believe championship or bust? The teams that win or fall just short. Just because you say that to appease the fanbase doesn't mean you are actually believe that. Jerry Jones says that but he is the reason they don't win it.

You can have any mentality you want. You can go around mad that you never made it to the winner circle the rest of your life. Or you can look at the brightside.

Was talking to somebody about this yesterday. He was saying that some teams should just be happy with making the playoffs and not getting a ring. shyt had me like cause im always thinking "fukk That, If You Dont Win It All You Won Nothing". Cant see MJ/Kobe/Nick Saban/Jim Harbaugh being happy with just making it which is what makes them so great. How does the coli feel?

The level of focus and determination these guys have is not something that you can just turn on or even develop. Either you have it or you don't. It's like saying if you aren't as big and strong and athletic as Shaq you lost. Everybody isn't built to be the best.

Too that point ertain teams just aren't built to win a title. Yeah those teams should be striving for a title but it shouldn't necessarily be championship or bust. You gotta be realistic at some point. Now teams that have all the pieces to win a title should defintely be thinking "championship or bust".

It would be unrealistic for me to except the Padres to win it all this year. But they can show me something that indicates they're moving in the right direction.
