Anyone who has played organized sports will understand this.
Every year that the Eagles don't win the ship for me is a 'bust'...I might have enjoyed watching them play and I may like the diection that they're going in, but in the grand scheme this still loss.

no teams have really won without sacrificing some years for rebuilding
you dont really jump from sucky to great in a year by getting one-two good players

You never defined Great. I said at the beginning as long as you have a shot at the championship, which they did. You said no team goes from sucky to great with 1-2 players which they did. And yes their seasons were bust, although id waive that for the colts because of their coaching situation
You are now talking out of your ass. The thread title says, "every season should be championship or bust" So the Colts year last year was a bust. No they played better then they were expected and played well. They have something to feel good about.
