I'm going to ignore that condescending ass comment you made after your question but an example is Craftsmen brand tools were made better and higher quality back in the day. Now craftsmen tools quality has gone down hill and are some of the most returned tools to stores. Not everything is better just because it's newer is my point. A lot of stuff is though.

If it was possible to have the internet without social media, then hell yeah I'd want that in the 80's and 90's. Who wouldn't?
I get that people complain about the internet (and rightfully so in most cases) but I don't think Gen X remembers how difficult (or in some cases, dangerous) something as simple as making plans was in the 90's.
I remember around '94 a snow storm hit KCMO and shut the city down. Me and one of my people were coming back from the mall, we got the news there was no more buses running due to zero visability literally as we stepped off the bus.
So we were like 4 miles away from our destination (27th and Brooklyn), in a blizzard. No cars on the street, entire downtown was shut down.
shyt is crazy when you think about it, KCMO isn't L.A. or N.Y. but it's roughly the size/population of Miami. We could've easily froze to death, and nobody had heard from us since the previous night. So nobody would've known where we were.
I say all that to say this....the internet/a cell phone would've made that story a minor inconvenience.

Women were receptive and just like "yeah when you trying to fukk, my number is ***-***-**** and tell you exactly what they wanted. You could adjust the sliders like on tinder now and just pick the race, age, height, weight etc of the woman you wanted and she would pop right up
I had this up and coming divorced spanish chick who was probably 33 at the time, rent a motel room and ask to suck my toes and worship me... then have me fukk her to make her husband pay. It was extremely spooky times breh. Still till this day I will not wife a broad because of the experiences I had during that timeframe.
