His scoring and shooting is more efficient, espeically in the post season

Does it just need to be Trae? Of course not. But beggars can't be choosers. It aint like star playres, and trae is at least that, are begging to come to San Antonio.

The absolute worst thing the Spurs could do is constantly be like "oh this guy isn't perfect and doesn't check all the boxes" and then the next thing you know it's 2027 and Devin Vassel is still the second best player on the team...which would mean they probably play in caliber at best.

Best to get a star now and figure out the rest later, cause their is no guarantee their is going to be an available star to even get later.

TBH If Tre Jones was a liiiittle better he'd be fine as the starting PG. He has a fundamental understanding of how to play point and the Spurs look much better with him starting.

At worst, he can hold the backup PG spot down. I think Tyus Jones would be a good move.
