I'm far from a Trump supporter but I have an issue with multi generational section 8.
I can understand if someone falls on hard times and they are given section 8 assistance for some years but I know people who live on section 8 since their grandma.
That doesn't sit right with me. The elderly and disabled can stay but the young and able should get a job.
I don't, I've lived in VA. People think if you get a bad deal, you can overcome when 7 out of 10 can't. It's the odds. I don't see how you can do this without a proper solution in place. I feel like this is what Jason was talking about in gentrification.

If we had affordable rent and living wages this wouldn't be an issue but its all by design

None of these aid programs are going to be around by the 2030s housing, food, health ect. I was told this by someone high up years ago

corporate work camps, 15 min cities where people work, eat, sleep, relax all in the same little area

no middle class, making under 500k is the new poor anybody "unaccounted for" homeless/jobless, will be locked up they will be the new prisoners
actual criminals are gonna be shipped overseas
It seems as though the corporate big dogs took over the country for real and now they letting they nuts hang

I remember when the world economic forum had a video about future shyt and one of the talking points was you will own nothing and like it

A result from houses not being able to be passed down because it was illegal for black ppl to own property..reparations is past due for such atrocities..section 8 housing should be giving to only black Americans with no limits

Although I’m not a fan of seeing women on section 8 for years, forcing people off with a time limit isn’t really the move

You got women with multiple kids(5+ under 18). Just kicking them off is asking for disaster as 2 years will be difficult to get a stable/affordable living arrangement in today’s society. Not enough time to go to schools/trade etc & be a primary care taker.

Unless you have a set plan for them to accomplish these things in the two years(meaning you’ll help pay for these things etc)

It’s a bad idea
While im inclined to agree your statement reminds me of a convo I heard with my cuz bm & her equally bird brained friends about how to space out yo kids so you can stay collecting dem State checks. I immediately pulled his up & was like the worse thing you can do is put another kid up in that so wha does he do? U know :snoop:

But i could get behind 18 months after yo kid turn 18 you gotta go or something like that

That’s enough time to get a free community college associates degree, a decent paying job, and start paying like everyone else

Or they could find a simp ready and willing to step up and take them and their children from the section 8 to the burbs

Devils advocate we‘re in the early stages of a stagflation based recession now, and by then it’s going to be a lot worst
