I'm still reading that Mary Trump book. He's not a functional retard. He is a very stupid man, who saw from a very young age, that he can get by with just being an oafish brute. His father encouraged that, and did everything to put his oldest son in an early grave, because he dared to have an original thought. No one dared to challenge him or correct him. He's gotten by all these years because of white supremacy and money. He's what all his followers want to be. Rich for doing absolutely nothing. Trump is an impeached President, people seem to have forgotten that glaring fact.
US intelligence would never let that happen, because hes an active national security risk and a traitor and even grade school kids know it.
The intel guys probably limit the information hes given because he is so reckless. He also doesnt read at all and clearly forgets everything. His staff have reported that some of his outrageous orders are delayed and he simply forgets.
