This is the entire point. Pink is trying to obfuscate what Trump actually said in order to make his words seem more reasonable.

No shyt if you just had a major surgery, you probably won't be capable of doing the jobs the military requires, and you probably shouldn't be enlisting any time soon. That is in no way exclusive to genital reassignment surgery.

But some trans will choose to never have such a procedure, or had one years ago and now live an otherwise productive life. THIS is why people are resistant towards what seems as a broad ban from Trump. Not just anger for the sake of anger / arguing for the sake of argument.

This is every conversation with trump supporters and conservative apologists.

If a doctor says ANY individual is at risk of self-harm or depression then they shouldn't be allowed serve.

So my question is do all doctors diagnose transgenders as depressed or a threat to their own health?
