Moronic generic nonsense. We never had any power in Syria we created the power vacuum when we supported terrorists trying to over throw a secular democratically elected government. Nvm that Syrians don't want us there, the fact that the public and media alike are talking like Syria is The same situation as Iraq shows how clueless westerners are and how little our PoV on their countries should matter.
None of this addresses what I mentioned. Nor does it accurately reflect what's happening. :francis:

Power vacum the man said :mjlol:
Despite what you want to believe the US presence in Syria affects how other countries, including our allies, behave in the region.

Once we pull out there will be an obvious shift in dynamics.

It's for a multitude of reasons, but from an extremely simple approach people aren't going to attack places that have a high concentration of US soldiers. :gucci:

never would have thought that trump could turn HL into chicken hawks :scusthov: can i assume you'll be contacting your nearest army recruiter next week?
fukk you mean. The main reason for being opposed to military intervention is how much it costs and how that money could be used for different purposes at home.

so the president just proposed less military intervention, and your response is bytching?
This decision deserves no praise because it doesn't lead to peace in the ME (he campaigned on this), a decrease in the military budget (he's touted raising the budget in the past few weeks), and it's under the false premise that ISIS has been defeated (they have not).

On top of that this decision has set back relations with our allies (they're important) and lead to another cabinet level posts without a confirmed head.

You seem triggered. What has you so tightly wound?:picard:
