So called liberals and conservatives have their feet so deep in the sand that any ideology of a different idea will be shot down with a strong influence from whoever they get their news information from. I know black people right now who would literally offer a fade on sight if you said anything negative about Obama, it's almost like how dudes are so protective of ANY b-ball player being compared to Jordan. A lot of black people knew things were getting fukked up under Obama, but you had a black man running the free world and for a lot of people that was enough. All he had to do was be black.

As it relates to Op's article, same thing. What propelled Trump to where he's at in the political spectrum is being unapologetic about everything. As the republican nominee he was doing stump speeches saying he would repeal, and replace Obamacare and his crowd cheered loudly. Those same ignorant folks didn't realize that many of them were under that healthcare plan, voted against their own interests for someone who spoke directly to them and is viewed as one of them.
