also, there's no such thing as "free agency" since their is no collective bargaining agreement between schools and the players. Players would have to organize first in order to even enter into negotiations with NCAA member schools. But it might be better for the NCAA Member Schools to deal with a Players Union instead of players individually. Who knows. You'd also have players who probably don't want to collectively bargain as they see more bread negotiating individually.
