A lot depends on the form reparations would take, a cash transfer probably isnt gonna happen. But I dont think thats what we want anyway, I think we want an elevated status within society, which is the answer to #41. Fool's errand. Not sure if you remember but a Civil War was fought over the slavery question. There is no viable path to getting 80 percent (let's say you were able to get a few liberal whites to support reparations) of the country to be OK with paying reparations.
2. OK. But see #1
3. It's not about fighting each other's fights. If you have shared interests, you sometimes have to work with/fight alongside people you don't even necessarily like. It's not about having a commitment to them - you really shouldn't have such a simplified view of politics. Purity = zero results.
4. Seems like all you're offering are platitudes. "Put our efforts towards changing that...fighting this permanent underclass status!" It all sounds great but explain to me how this actually happens. Form a new party? Mass demonstrations? Civil War?
We need to demand redress.
The trap we always fall into(with Democrats), is extending our self to others(illegal immigrants in this case) without receiving anything meaningful in return. This needs to stop.

That we should lend a hand in our own oppression?...
I want equality for blacks Hispanics etc whether it's in society or in the workplace. I don't want white people to be able to have a leg up over everyone that is an American citizen breh.
Just say f*ck nikkas, wave your Mexican flag and keep it moving.
