Yeah, that's not as bad as killing and kidnapping people. :yeshrug: I'm sure you see the uh reasonable difference.
Dissent is supposed to be what makes this country great. If you don't think so maybe you should take your own advice. :usure:
Russia doesn't kill and kidnap people?

:jbhmm: better still...

The guy they helped elect wants to imprison journalists and political opponents for dissent.

But that doesn't bother you:PatriceTrump:

Y'all still defending Trump but still don't understand that these investigations are months ahead of us :heh:

Plus it's foolish at this point to believe that Trump had no clue what was transpiring around him. Especially with how he fired Comey.

Yer getting way off topic breh. I'll just say Russia isn't doing anything we didn't do to them.

Contrary to what the DNI assessment analyzed, the indictment concluded that the Russians began to plan releasing emails before Trump was the nominee (at the time Cruz was favorited).
Falsehood/distortion #1: It was well-known that Putin hated Clinton and would have opposed her regardless of who ran against her, that was always part of the narrative from the beginning.

For example, this July 2016 article, Why Putin hates Hillary.

Falsehood/distortion #2: When was Cruz ever seriously favored? Trump took the lead in the national polls from mid-2015 and basically stayed ahead in the polls for the entire race. Cruz briefly had a 1 delegate lead after the first primary, before Trump kicked his butt in the second primary and opened up a delegate lead that he would never relinquish. There may have been pundits predicting "Trump will implode", but I doubt Putin relies on pundits, and he could have seen Trump with both a polling lead and a delegate lead for the entire race.

Those two statements alone discredits any idea of collusion between Trump/Russia to steal the election from Hillary as the initial russia assessment described.
No they don't. :dahell:

How would Putin wanting Clinton to lose prove that he didn't also want Trump to win?

How would Putin wanting Clinton to lose prevent him from colluding with Trump to make it happen?

That's like saying that because I've hated Kobe since before I even knew who LeBron was, I therefore have never actually been a LeBron fan. :heh:

The fact that Rosenstein himself said he briefed Trump on the indictments days ago should indicate to a working brain that Trump isnt a target in Mueller's investigation
No it doesn't. :what:

What difference would it make if Trump learned about the indictments now or four days ago? It would make literally no difference to Trump's involvement at all. If Trump is a target, then why wouldn't they let him know about the indictments a few days early? They're still going to treat him as the chief executive and the person the Justice Department reports to in all details except those which directly implicate him or which would give away an aspect of the case that they don't want given way. This does neither.

Sidenote- we still dont have forensic evidence of anything
What forensic evidence do you expect them to have handed over to people like you at this point? :gucci:

Arguments could be made either way

And you still left out the fact her cyber-security was the most vulnerable to "phishing"

The main aspect of this indictment should directly implicate Trump if there’s any truth to the Trump/Russia collusion conspiracy. But a las it doesn’t so Rosenstein can brief him on it :manny:

Its about the "russian phishing" scheme they ran on low-security cyber entities
What separated Clintons personal data from any other candidate was the fact her campaign chairman, Podesta's password was "p@ssword" so it was more likely to be infiltrated.

but of course this will be repeatedly glossed over but it is what it is :manny:

That’s your trump loving eyes. He briefed trump because he’s the president. Doesn’t mean other parts of the investigation couldn’t contain trump.

I don’t recall anybody ever thinking the trump team was involved with the actual hacking of the dnc.

Because it's irrelevant. The fact that Putin hates Clinton is well-established. The fact that Trump has long-term ties to Russia and is relatively easy to manipulate is well-established. Adding in other fortuitous circumstances doesn't change those facts.

You get your signals crossed? Being favored over Cruz is being favored in the Republican primaries. I'm not aware of any claims that Putin tried to interfere with the Republican primary. We are referring to interference in the general election, right?

And simply being well ahead and favored isn't really a reason not to interfere anyway. Clinton wishes she had someone interfering on her behalf when she was favored.

This doesn’t make sense and it’s strawman
You will learn over time that everything I say makes sense. if you ever see something that doesn't make sense, that is a sign you need to read more carefully.

I pointed out that I can wish for Kobe to lose, and also independently wish for LeBron to win, at the same time. If you see me rooting for LeBron over Kobe, it isn't enough to say, "He hates Kobe, therefore that must be the reason he's rooting for Bron, he probably doesn't even like LeBron." It is perfectly possible to root against Kobe and still legitimately stan for Bron at the same time.

The fact that Putin wanted to target Clinton doesn't prove that he didn't also want to help Trump. He can have both motives, anti-Clinton AND pro-Trump, at the same time.

The main aspect of this indictment should directly implicate Trump if there’s any truth to the Trump/Russia collusion conspiracy. But a las it doesn’t so Rosenstein can brief him on it :manny:
Rosenstein knew that the second the indictments are announced, they would directly implicate Roger Stone. If he knows more than that, why would he tip his hand by hiding the indictments from Trump? In briefly Trump he must have let Trump know that Stone was implicated (which Stone had probably inferred himself anyways, and would have known within days regardless), but he doesn't have to let Trump know what else he knows. If he had hid the indictments from Trump, that would have tipped Trump to knowing that he had passed from chief executive to suspect. Why would they tip him off to that when briefing him doesn't impair any aspect of the investigation whatsoever?

People like me?

:mjpls:
Yeah, no-names who :cape: for right-wing :duck: on the internet. Why do you think any of the "forensic evidence" from an investigation like this is ever gonna be placed before your eyes?

It’s irrelevant yet included in the indictment. Apparently mueller thought it was substantial

They tried the same spearphishing tactics on the GOP in 2015. So the interference in the case of this indictment is not exclusive to the general election.

Eloquently said. However, it has nothing to do with the vulnerability of Clinton’s cyber security or the timing in which the Russians planned to run this operation therefore it doesn’t make sense in relationship to my point. This is formerly identified as a strawman fallacy.

Rosenstein said no Americans were knowingly implicated in this indictment (this includes Roger Stone)

But let’s take away the fact Rosenstein briefed trump on this particular indictment

...Rosenstein told Trump personally he wasn’t a target in Muellers investigation a couple of months ago so your point is moot anyway.
Rosenstein told Trump last week he is not a target in Russia probe

Yeah, no-names who :cape: for right-wing :duck: on the internet. Why do you think any of the "forensic evidence" from an investigation like this is ever gonna be placed before your eyes?

This indictment is about the people that was actually doing the hacking. The guys that was actually on the computer or whatever. Nobody thought the trump campaign was involved in the actual hacking. Nobody thought Jared Kushner was sitting with the Russians trying to break into servers with them.

You do realize that subjects may become targets of investigations as investigations evolve and more information is gathered? Trump is currently a subject. Aka a person of interest. Person of interest aka subject either becomes innocent, or a target. You should wait and let this play out before jumping to conclusions.

Don Jr and Roger Stone have not been interviewed yet while everyone else has been interviewed. Sometimes twice. That means they may be targets of the investigation since they both had contacts with Wikileaks. Or they may be top subjects that they believe will turn into targets.

Sidenote- we still dont have forensic evidence of anything
Stoppppp. Roger Stone literally said something similar on CNN yesterday. Don't believe the indictment but ask for forensic evidence knowing that the Russians will never stand trial for the evidence to be presented. That's desperation talking points. That's some shyt the Russians would say or the clowns on info wars would say.

It's like you don't know how an international conspiracy case works. This is what they are doing.

Step 1: Gather evidence and throw the book at people for minor crimes or other crimes in order to get them to cooperate on the main focus of the investigation and to help investigators get into the inner workings of the conspiracy. (Mike Flynn, George Papadopoulos, Rick Gates are all cooperating. Manafort is holding out because he's hoping or expecting to be pardoned. Even though that won't help when the states (NY state) decide to bring state charges after the pardon that only the Governor can pardon)

Step 2: Identify the conspiracy and the conspirators. In this case that's the 13 Russian Nationals for what they did on social media, and the 12 Russian military officers for the DNC, HRC campaign and DCCC hack. That's basically telling the story of what happened.

Step 3: Identify co-conspirators aka any Americans who may have been in on the conspiracy.

This investigation is headed toward step 3. How about we wait and see what happens instead of you pulling every ridiculous comment out of a magic hat?

Clearly, I’m not the one jumping to conclusions (unless you have advanced information claiming Trump is a target)
