4 pushing 5.

Poor technically. Poor look. No stand-out angles in my memory.

He was consistently OVER though and so was the 4x4. Crowds loved him and he managed to get "USA! USA!" chants from the British crowd in the Royal Albert Hall, so nobody could argue he wasn't over.

He's also the only wrestler I ever got an autograph from. I was 10 years old and it was a couple of weeks before Summerslam '92... queued for a couple of hours in the rain for a signed photo. He patted my friend's little sister on the head, called her "little lady" and asked us if we'd seen Repo Man lurking about anywhere. :ld:

Absolute fukking garbage. He might be the single least talented dude to ever make it to the level he did. Nerds for years have always been like "oh you gotta see his Mid South stuff when he was actually good before Vince " blah blah blah hipster bullshyt, but now that shyt is available for everyone to see and surprise surprise: He fukking sucked in Mid South, too. It's absolutely baffling how over he was, because he has no memorable angles, no memorable promos, no memorable matches his entire WWF run when at times he was almost as over as Hogan at his peak. His WCW run was even worse, as he was way past his prime still getting tons of TV time for YEARS.

I'd give him a 0 if I could.

Some wrestlers are hard to judge if you didn't watch their early careers. I didn't get to watch UWF only from magazines like Pro wrestling illustrated or inside wrestling. Going by his WWE career, id say a 6. No top notch matches. No real standing feuds. Just a patriotic wrestler who loves his country. Yea I'd say a 6

He believes in himself and his character, his gimmick isn’t “I’m a smark CAC who watched this a lot, maybe I mimic this successfully?”. That goes a long way to getting over.
