Not much you could do about Bryan getting away. Punk...well, did anything really suffer from a business perspective with him leaving? Ratings were on a downward slide for years even before Punk was a top guy. They lost out on some merch money for a few months and that's about it with Punk (or really, anyone that leaves that isn't Cena).

I can assure you that it isn't a feud you want to watch back in full. Please believe me. It's awful. Plus most if it isn't on the Network since they don't have Nitro/Thunder from 2000. But it was very, very bad from start to finish I promise.

Watching the Bray/Rock segment from WM 32 again...the ELECTRICITY in Dallas when he announced he was having a match. Everyone was SO SURE he wouldn't wrestle but once again..the Rock shows that magic that only he has in his hand.

The fifth season of Total Divas will begin streaming on the WWE Network starting next week. It’s unclear if WWE plans to drop the entire season at once, or roll out the fourteen episode series one at a time, but either way episode one will drop next Wednesday night.

The Invasion in gifs Part 2:

Lmao DDP's promo completely buried WCW and tanked it as a whole, as he straight up said you haven't made it and aren't a star if you didn't do it in the WWF, so that's why he stalked Taker's wife, to make it personal with the biggest dog in the yard so he could finally be a star. Also taking probably the top star they had for the Invasion (or at least second, depending on how big you think Booker was at the end of WCW) and having him debut as a slimy, creepy ass heel when the rest of the WCW group are all faces is pretty fukking weird.

Not at that point. WCW and Shane were faces when DDP debuted. Storm, Hugh, and Stacy all debuted distracting/attacking heels. Shane was such a face even WWF crew were friendly with him when he showed up. WCW didn't turn heel until the show ECW joined, or at least when Booker/Buff stunk up the building.

Even when Booker debuts, it's fukking up heel Austin, and the whole thing was still built as face Shane fukking with heel Vince to face pops each week. At least one face WWF talent (Test) voices his praise for the whole thing more than once.

The show with Lance's run in is 5/28/01, and is generally considered the start of the Invasion since he was the first WCW dude to show up. It might technically have started a week or two before when Shane randomly interrupted Kurt Angle to talk about WCW and kick off their feud, but it wasn't an invading thing. He came down the ramp to his music.
