I didn't even look at the Foley/Shane interview..Austin not doing it? I'm not watching it. Austin had Cripple H stuttering like a moth3rfukker when he brought up Chyna..I want that kind of $hit BACK..FULL TIME.

One of my favorite moments was after 9/11, they had a LIVE Smackdown on Sept 13th 2001, the Rock was just untouchable and at the point when Shawn Stasiak cut him off and demanded the title, the Rock automatically turned it on and said "That WCW championship means everything to the Rock" and crowd chanted ROCKY in response. You don't get that stuff these days. Not even close...well we did when Bryan would correct Stephanie and Cripple H during their promos but that stuff is dead now.

Picking back up on this Hart foundation run 4-7-97

If Bret Hart came along just a few years later or stayed in WWF he'd probably be one of my favorites. Really found a new respect for him rewatching these.

Watched Judgement Day 2005.. This is one of the few PPVs that was actually rated MA. Its crazy how you had all of these different feuds that looked like legit beefs:
JBL/Cena with Cena emerging after a blood bath
Eddie/Rey
Booker T/Angle with Angle playing the role of the obsessive rapist. It was a disgusting angle but it drew Kurt tons of heat.
The Crusierweight match was solid

None of these feuds today have that intensity. Its like these guys pretend to be mad for 2 hours and then go back to playing video games on the bus. Eddie and Rey FELT real

Bret in 97' >>>

Imo, Bret/Shawn in 97' was as real as wrestling will ever be.
But it wasn't really entertaining though....especially for anyone watching it when it went down without knowing all of that back story bull$hit that kids these days get to know about ahead of time almost 20 years after the fact. $hit was a nightmare watching that crap compared to the Nwo and the rise of Austin in general.

He said that in april of 97
Shows you why he was a never a drawing act because he damn sure didn't know what he was talking about and overrated his worth. He retired and no one gave a damn a month later as Austin was rolling and breaking records. Bret leaving the WWF caused mass hysteria, Rude leaving DX, the nwo acknowledging with Rude shooting on it, and it created the Vince McMahon character that opposed Austin. So he was the real changing point of how the Attitude Era kicked off..not Michaels.

Everyone knows that...which is why Bret returns to the ovations he does these days and Shawn does not.
