That has no relevance to what I said.

Nobody tells other races of women to date men who can only afford to pay the light bill.

What if I said other races of men take pride in providing for their women and work hard to make sure she doesn't have to settle. Would you agree? Of course not, so don't do the reverse to me.
im confused...

Pretty much all men take pride in providing for their women....

so your statement about other races taking pride makes absolute sense and I do agree...

?

the statement about "settling" is just a concept to coddle black women...

because the actual income statistics show that black men make more money than black women.....

So im not really sure what your point is?

Tell me how y'all would feel about this, and be honest:

Oprah or Beyonce or Michelle Obama uses her platform to say "Listen. Black men are typically more fit and easygoing than black women. Black men want fit and feminine and friendly but the reality is, your soulmate may be overweight and have an attitude because black women go through a lot. It's okay. Choose her anyway because love is all that matters."

Y'all cosigning that or nah?

I'm not sure what your point was either.

And any man who takes pride in being a provider would take issue with what TP said.

People overuse the term "settling". Settling is if a 5 star recruit in football picks a lesser school like Western Michigan when he has offers from Bama or Georgia. When folks "settle" for something, you pick a lesser option when you actually QUALIFY for better options. And those options come quickly too.

If you out here waiting 5, 10, 15 years and that better option ain't came yet, then you clearly don't qualify for them. Water finding its own level isn't "settling".

We always attacked...:heh:
Them warehouse checks ain't hittin like they used to:damn:

@Peachstate kind of right Black men have a tendency to pigeonhold ourselves into the most basic medicore type jobs and be content with just that. That mindset has to change.

Also stop saying we make more women then Black women WE ARE MEN we're suppose to thats not some big flex lol and our women aren't and should never be our competition

Black women do not make more money than black men.

Anyway, terrible fukking advice, and nobody ever says this to other races of women.

Why didn't he suggest that black men get their money up instead?
Because I know white, European and Hispanic couples that worked together whether the husband or wife made more money. A relationship is built on character, morale, cultural beliefs and goals but not solely focused on a man's monetary wealth.

That was said in jest and it wasn't literal anyway why would he talk about any other race and how do you know no one else says this?

Black men make more money than black women, thats a fact....

but black women have a narrative that black men make less than them...

and think they are settling...

it would be like if black women were fitter than black men (hypothetical)

but black men "think" black women are more overweight (even though they arent...)

then we are told to accept black women for being overweight (when they are actually fitter)

and black men complain about settling for fat women (when they actually are more fit)

lol...

it would be a delusional circle

especially if black men get offended for being told to be with a fat woman (even though the women are fitter)

do you see the actual issue?

you are more concerned with being offended over advice based on a false narrative...

than you are about correcting the actual the false narrative
