Degrees/Education don't mean anything if the demand isn't there. A history degree is worthless next to Mechanical engineering. If most black women were getting STEM degrees, you'd have a point.

Your hypothetical isn’t even necessary considering men get told to settle on those things all the time.

There isn’t a single person on earth whose partner checks every single box that they want or fantasized about. Everyone compromises on something in a relationship and people who say they don’t or haven’t are just liars. These discussions always go absolutely nowhere because both sides constantly tell the other “well you can’t have it all, you’ll have to settle on some things”, which isn’t even problematic in the first place.

What is definitely problematic is a gay billionaire telling average black people what they should or should not be doing in their heterosexual relationships.

Finances are a pretty big box. The biggest box, actually. My example was silly and superficial, I grant you that. Financial concerns literally affect your future and your descendants' futures.

I agree you should not have to settle but Black folks need to stop the gender wars when we are dealing with the impact of white supremacy.
