I dead ass stopped listening to odd future because I shared it with my white college roommate and the way he geeked over it made it so lame to me. He was obsessed made it his whole identity

People who grew up around him have BEEN calling bullshyt on his whole “I grew up around white kids and had different interests so the blacks hated me” since he was going at Bruno. It’s not that Tyler “grew up” - he has severely internalized anti-blackness because of his upbringing. Him addressing it by trying to play it off as something that the youth does (when he wasn’t even that young) and never addressing it for what it was is why people are on his neck right now.

A lot of people do not understand that suburb has an actual definition, and only think of it as you didn't grow up in the hood/grew up around white people.

Hawthorne is a Suburb of LA, Ladera Heights is not apart of the city of LA....Ladera is also a few lights away from the Overhills.

What's happening to him is what happened to a lot of mid 30's adults who grew up in edgelord spaces online....He at least seems to be self aware of the type of time he was on 15 years ago.

But industry saw that Tyler was a worker — and a buffoon — and put energy behind him.
