Not a fan of that weirdo gay shyt but good for him i guess

To a lot of people beyond what this forum fukk withIgor was classic for who?
Are you a latte bro? You got a vinyl player in your crib and wear shorts in the winter?
I fukked with the early, HipHop BEP joints, but there was nothing classic about them save a song or two. They aren't that good, respectfully.yep, that was BEP Empire produced by Primo. They really tried to do this hip hop shyt but hip hop fans are the worst kind of mfers in the world. You put out classic albums, they don't listen or support you. You start doing mainstream music, they strt criticizing because you're not making music for them..
Monetarily speaking, a certain amount of streams (1500 streams) are equivalent to one physical album sale so it actually does make sense. It generates the same amount of revenue for the label.People being concerned about units "sold" in an age without physical media will always baffle me. The way DSPs quantify sales seems flawed at the least and flat out rigged at the worst.
I agree. I was talking about hip hop artists in general. Illmatic and RD didn't have great sales. Neither did Resurrection, but when Common started doing the crossover shyt like UMC and EC(that wasn't really bad, just not hip hop), people complained.I fukked with the early, HipHop BEP joints, but there was nothing classic about them save a song or two. That makes sense due to the bolded. A lot of others didn't care but artsy people love him, many of them are gay too no offense bro. Just being real and I'm sure you can ates to that. Many artsy fartsy types are homosexual, not from harlem types. To a lot of people beyond what this forum fukk with
I work in the creative industry, lotta arts fartsy types. I've seen first hand what that shyt meant to a lot of folks
What is wrong with his lyrics?
You're not equipped to have this conversation dog. Artsy fartsy covers a pretty wide spectrum of folks, not just gay people. If you have any creative aspirations at all, you're probably one of those types. That makes sense due to the bolded. Pharrell was a super producer first and his cache/leeway was built in once he began putting out his own projects. And working with various types of artists kinda eliminated the "core" for him, he appealed to pockets of everyone. He didn't chase radio but he was inherently much more radio friendly than Tyler.I wouldn't say they've been able to do it to level of a tyler or pharrell.
They've pretty much never chased the radio and just made a bunch of shyt that would never catch to anyone but their core fanbase
His shyt sound ridiculous to me. Couldn't get into based on the singles but happy for his success.
From that Yonkers song eating a roach to now this..salute.
Can anyone break down the album name and the black face character?
Tyler's a millennial, unless you're just talking audienceHe's a generational artist for Gen Z and I respect it. He restores the feeling even if I don't rock with some of it
Yeah I meant the audience, and edited the post to include younger millennials as wellTyler's a millennial, unless you're just talking audience
