Amare playing with a back that could give out at any moment, even more suspect knees, no team was willing to trade anything for him...100M Contract

BUT TYSON...is the one crippling the franchise

(And this is'nt even to say Amare is...but TYSON? Really???)

This Guy Said Tyson Should Be BENCHED So Amar'e Can Start At Center :dwillhuh:

So The Knicks Should Bench Their Best, Most Vocal, High IQ Defender Who Blocks And Alters Shots On The Interior AND The Perimeter If Needed On Defense

Creates 2nd And 3rd Scoring Opportunities As Well As Cleans Up Around The Rim On Offense

Who Currently Leads The LEAGUE In Offensive Rebounds And FG Percentage

Who Has A Gold Medal, Championship Ring, Defensive Player Of The Year Trophy AND A 2013 All Star Appearance

All So........

Ama're Stoudemire Could Start At Center.......

Right Buddy... :rudy:

He's not an offensive player + I think his time with the Bulls ruined his development.

  1. The Bulls tried to make Curry the scorer without giving him much opportunities. He had no plays called for him and basically played clean up scoring off rebounds and loose balls and lobs.
  2. Same thing in Dallas.

I think coaching has failed him big time. Dude could have been a decent offensive player in the right system

If he could have been he would have been.

Chandler has played for, what, four teams and who knows how many coaches with different systems/philosophies. Tyson Chandler isn't a good offensive player because of Tyson Chandler.

That said, he more than makes up for it on the defensive end and rebounding wise. Plus he's one of the best communicators on defense in the league, which never gets talked about by fans or media, but is IMPORTANT AS ALL fukk.

Tyson Manages To Chip In 10-12 Points As Well As A shyt Load Of 2nd Chance Points For The Team To Score, Its Like If People Dont See 20PPG Next To His Name He's Deemed Worthless

Brooke Lopez Is Half The Defender, Rebounds On Par With Carmelo Anthony And Has 0 Intangables But Because He Can Score He's A Big Deal Now

If Brooke Lopez Has A Rough Scoring Night The Guy Is Useless 7 Foot Trash Taking Up Space

Tyson Can Have 6 Points And Change The Entire Game When Hes On The Floor

I dont think the TS was saying tyson was garbage or unimportant to the knicks,
just its amazing he hasnt developed atleast one low post move all his time in the league. Not even a hook, drop step, even a 10ft jump shot.

Didnt seem like he was taking away his impact from the knicks on the defensive end.

He Said He Was The Same Player He Was 13 Years Ago

You Gotta Understand, Tyson And Eddie Curry Were Looked At In The Same Way

When Tyson Was Shipped Outta Chicago Its Cause They Believed Curry Was On The Come Up And Tyson Was Not Gonna Pan Out

Now The Better Scorer With More Post Moves Is Out Of The League And Tyson Has Tons Of Achievements With NO POST Moves

To Call Him The Same Player Is Insulting

He Had No Post Moves Back Then Either, Same Guy??

You dudes are really clowns. Tryna devalue extending possession because of the way he does it. If it's so simple and straight forward why ain't your man Lopez doing it so he can finally average double digit boards?

I'm not even sure why I'm replying to this post. :mindblown:

:what: who said i was devaluing extra possessions :what:

i said he gets credit for a rebound for tapping the ball to a teammate IMO -that should not be considered a re
listen: i cant be mad, its affective & he gets credit for it -smart move on his part.... but i cant remember when they started to allowed this as a offical stat for rebound
it pads his numbers -good for him

but back to the topic.... the OP is 100% right
13 yrs in the game & still has zero offensives move (not a good look)

He has stone hands.....but he has found his niche and I respect that. I don't think he should have been the DPOY when he wasn't even the best defensive player on his team tho. And those tap outs should NOT be counted as rebounds.

He's added a 15 foot jumper he's been knocking down the few times he takes it, and he's improved tremendously at free throws compared to his Chi/NO days

Him trying to front like he's an go-to threat would take away from the volleyball piff he provides on offense :whoa:

More importantly, why has he been labeled as a shot blocker...... his career average is 1.3! Call him a shot alter-er or something else but a shotblocker he is not.

It is what it is at this point. People on this site want to harp to the next level on whatever weakness a guy has while completely ignoring whatever it is that they do well, and in Tyson's case, at an elite level.

if they took the stat sheet away a lot of people wouldn't be able to voice an opinion about basketball.

He's not the only center with no post game whatsoever in the league now.
It's AMAZING the lack of talent at center today compared to the 1990s :mindblown:
