U.K. brehs coming out with bangers

If we keeping it real, UK brehs and brehettes been having the bangers since the late 80s, early 90s.
I know my 80s babies know about the UK soul/R&B back then

But jungle, UK garage, IDM, grime, drum n bass, UK hard house, all of that, straight up has been hitting for decades.

Trust when I say Jungle is the one vibe that’s purely a London one. In the early 90’s I wasn’t even 10 years old so all I could do is listen to the tapes my brother and his friends made. Roll forward 20 years when I go out and hear the same tunes, I get hyped!

Garage, Jungle, Techno and DnB are the earliest musics memories. I didn’t get into hip hop until my mid teens.

Its the same producers. Axel, Melo, etc are all from London and producing for US rappers and influencing the producers here. That’s not the only sound coming out of the U.K.

Unforgettable is afrobeat, which was used by U.K. artists before Americans going back 5 or so years ago. This was just one more recent example from Nones most recent album

Personally, I much prefer afrobeats these days though. Happy songs, and they really set a positive mood for the type of environments and functions I’ve been in lately. Maybe I’m just getting old
