Agreed...but we can serve the lord in our house and watch youtube sermons for inspiration, and donate to the local community center for benevolence
Not exactly

"For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them." - The Holy Bible, Matthew 18:20

There's something to be gained by fellowship through a congregation

That being said .. We all know Jesus hit the block
He was out in the streets preaching amongst the people.. the common folks

I feel that in 2021 the church needs to evolve with the way people are changing

Maybe a new hybrid religion will emerge in the next 20-50 years

If things progress this way and there's any sort of major event impacting humanity

Understand Jesus started the church so where He was, that's where the church was. Wherever He went He took the church with Him. The Apostles and a lot of other people followed Him. There is nobody living today that can say that. He is the focus of the church.

That's why everybody gathers in His name. You can do that wherever you want, and it can be 2-3, but there's more than 2-3 believers in the world so using that as an excuse to just gather in your little clique is really saying something else.

Nothing blind about it.

Those that think they can see it all with their physical eyes are the ones that are truly blind.

the way you are talking you you think you can see it all with your eyes on one book. sounds like you got blinders on breh.

like ive said i aint got the answers. all of that maybe factual at the end of the day. You are even unwilling to ask a question of your own religion. that says enough to me right there. every decision i make i have a question about. its the only way to come to a true understanding.

if there are 4300 religions out htere that means there is a possibility that yours could be the wrong one and you are just being led astray. you may very well also be right. but as of right now there is no absolute. you are speaking as if thats the only possible answer. i will say i respect your fortitude to stand for your beliefs though. whether i think its right or if it is right is another thing

Why do people only think morality comes from the church?? The church is one of the most segregated institutions we have in this country. We overrate the positive impact of the church and ignore the fact that there are other non religious based organizations that have been very helpful in society as well. We don't need the church to develop a moral compass.
i often tell religious people that they and i are just as moral, since we both know which parts of the bible are bullshyt :laff:
