Hell
according to the link OP posted, more college graduates go to church than no college graduates

College graduate 68 65 54 -14
Not college graduate 69 60 47 -22

Then I'm wrong, I wouldn't know the true reason but IMO young people just aren't into that as much some due to being focused on other things, church really doesn't hit them like that.

you took an L.

nowhere in that verse did it say go to church or be damned and go to hell. Stop implying shyt that aint there. That is another problem with you christians.

Nah breh, I'm just here to tell you the truth. You can sit out the fight if you want to. Reality is, sitting on the fence means you're with them. You can't fight sitting on the fence, you get overpowered.

You're going to be influenced by the spirits of this world being inactive. That's a guarantee. I've been through all of this. You're not talking to anybody who doesn't know exactly what is going on.

You're going to deny, but you're also going to think about this for years and see what I'm telling you is the Truth. If you stay inactive and outside of the congregation of believers for support you are going to be influenced by the world and overpowered by the anti-Christian spirit already in the world today.

Everything I'm saying enrages those spirits. They are trying to influence your emotions as we speak.

That's an excuse. You learn what the scriptures say and you don't get fooled by whatever might be going on.

lmao what that sounds like a cognitive dissonance there. scriptures MIGHT be fooling you into believing something you shouldnt. there is no absolute answer. i appreciate you believing in it and i hope it works for you in your life. but just because you read it and grew up in it does not mean your belief system>>>>

like i said in a previous post i respect others beliefs but it seems as though christians (and hard lined other religious peoples) dont care to respect anyone elses.

i wish the best for ya breh i gotta work

No, I don't respect ignorance. I have to let you know.

Right wing "Christians" in media and in politics doing everything but what Jesus would do. It turns people off.

The last few years, people finally see the hypocrisy of these false Christians defending evil like Trump, and it turned them off of organized religion altogether.

I do believe in God and read at least 2 chapters of The Bible every night, its just that too many hypocrites pray to God, but do unbound evil. Guess people are finally fed up with it, and rather develop spiritually than just attending service every Sunday.

Nah :rudy:

the fact I caught you in a bold face lie and you still tryna wriggle out of it instead of saying “i was wrong” or “i was mistaken” tells me everything I need to know what type of christian u are.

I simply asked for book, chapter, and verse of where it says if you don’t go to church you will be damned to hell. Something similar to verses where fakkitry or murder are condemned. You couldn’t do it

The closest you got was a verse in a letter to the Hebrew churches that says let’s remember to meet up.

Nothing wrong with what was said. Learn the scripture. Just because you run into a rare Christian who doesn't back down, don't be surprised. There's more coming.

all religions except Christianity were founded by winners
Examples:
Islam -> Mohammed and his armies
Hinduism -> Aryans
Buddhism -> Buddha was an Indian prince

The early church was persecuted by Rome and all the apostles were penniless and died gruesome deaths

It's easy to understand how winners spread their ideology, but Christianity grew faster during persecution to the point where they were one of the largest religions in Rome before Constantine made Christianity the empire's official religion
There must be truth for those early Christians to keep believing

intersting becuase christianity can be attributed to the white mans colonization. they were the winner. they spread it and ignored many of the african belief systems and gave those same folks christinaity.
wouldnt christianty growing fast DURING persecution just be attributed to people buying in largely out of fear of being persecuted. :patrice:

you just seem to have gave a longer explanation of how christanity was founded by a winner - constantine but just didnt give a brief descriptor for the other.

but this is the interesting part of all religion to me and history its only told by the winners we dont get a full story or to hear the other side. its easy to label those who dont buy in as a demon or some shyt.

like i said to breh i respect what you want to believe but we can pretend that its some perfect/factual system. Thats also teh beauty of belief and faith right. you can just inside believe in something even those it may be problematic it may help you to get thru struggling times and teach you how to meditate(not by the name of meditation).

but cats in hear preaching as if all the negatives and questions and problematic events dont exist like :hubie:. label it as an excuse or not a reason. and coming from a family of pastors/rev and teachers i cant let that fly becasue even they are willing to sit and listen and discuss with different views and dissenting opinions.

ultimately all of hte things they tell us not to discuss is for a reason. politics, religion, money is all by design less we talk about it the less we can question, less we can figure out why things are the way tehy are. lesser teh chance to topple power structures

I was done with church after I saw our pastor get escorted off church grounds by sheriffs because a group of members wanted him gone because they thought they ran the church and not him. At that moment the facade was broken.

Oh now because I sonned you, I don’t understand scripture:sad:

you mad? I’m still waiting on the book, chapter, and verse where it says if you don’t go to church then you are damned to hell. The same way fakkitry is damned clear and in black & white, show me where if you skip church you are damned to hell

I don’t want to hear shyt from the Book of Chrishaune, chapter Juelz, verse Ducktales.

Faith/Hope isn't a strategy.

More educated People, STEM majors included, are less religious. Kind of a backfire that as corporations get bigger, people attendinf religious services less.
