Ehhh....I haven't been to a sermon in years. I will say however that some people (or those around these people) do benefit for having a standard moral code, because they lack moral discernment otherwise. My younger relatives have no clue about the belief in a God, Jesus or anything that we grew up knowing as second nature. We (my generation, and I'm 30) had a moral standard governed by the Church, that would get you some sort of a sideways look from our peers if we deviated from it. Case and point when that "Blood sacrifice" documentary came out a decade ago, it shook me and everybody that I knew to see the rumored satanic rituals in the entertainment industry. This shaking up could only happen to people who had a common moral code. This shock surrounding the shyt with Lil Nas X and his video isn't really hitting the younger generation with the shock value as it is to people who are at least. Will this lead to this next generation blindly accepting Satanism?

the way you are talking you you think you can see it all with your eyes on one book. sounds like you got blinders on breh.

like ive said i aint got the answers. all of that maybe factual at the end of the day. You are even unwilling to ask a question of your own religion. that says enough to me right there. every decision i make i have a question about. its the only way to come to a true understanding.

if there are 4300 religions out htere that means there is a possibility that yours could be the wrong one and you are just being led astray. you may very well also be right. but as of right now there is no absolute. you are speaking as if thats the only possible answer. i will say i respect your fortitude to stand for your beliefs though. whether i think its right or if it is right is another thing

You have the freedom believe what you want. I'm telling the truth. That's all.

No amount of "oh but, oh but" is going to change any of the truth. People who want to walk spiritually blind will run into that wall that people have been telling them to avoid.

Yea partly because people lost faith in the church and of course some just being at home due to COVID, but the biggest reason that the black Christian church and community doesn’t want to deal with or acknowledge is the fact a lower and lower percentage of not only black people , but white people as well, actually believe what’s in the Bible and Christianity as being real. Millennials are that generation where it’s such a drastic shift. and by the time the next generation has grandchildren , it might be damn near obsolete in many countries in the world and definitely here. That’s great. And I got love for My Muslim brothers, but it’s true for y’all too and every religion. It’s called progress, it’s called being a more advanced civilization.

I don't go to church for the same reason I don't take everything in the bible seriously. Bunch of hypocrisy all around.

I believe in God because of my faith, not because of man. Man tends to tell lies, is full of hypocrisy, and like to think they are 100% noble and perfect just because they are Christian.

I actually miss going to church on Sundays(after football season of course):yeshrug:, Hopefully they start to reopen this summer, I like to start my week off with a good sermon. I don’t believe in prayers or none of that shyt, but a nice motivational word to start my week does wonders :wow:

Plus there are some fine women at these churches :whoo:

Boxing fakkit..

mexicans hate mayweather cause he fights like a bytch.. same reason mexicans hated de la hoya in the 90's. Only reason blacks support mayweather is because he is black if dude was white you would all throw your grape soda at the TV screen.

Right wing "Christians" in media and in politics doing everything but what Jesus would do. It turns people off.
Christian means I vote Republican and I love white America.

:mjcry: Why are they like this? A bunch of hypocrites

“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in.
- Matthew 23:13

If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless. Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.
- James 1:26-27

Black men attendance dropped like 70%

over the last few decades

pastors started cuddling up to the sisters and started hustling the women with their talk and a few was getting away from the Bible scriptures

That too. Its been like that for so long, that the young generation see religion as a FEMININE thing. Removing (black) men from the church was a monumental mistake, that could very well kill organized religion as we know it. Even non religious black women are rising in percentages.
