you're here talking about converting uber customers into private customers but you aren't offering the same service. you're one guy. people will continue to use uber for the convenience. no one is going to use you privately and work around your schedule.

"Sorry honey master teacher said he just sat down to have lunch. Looks like we have to wait..."

Jesus christ you are mororn

their are people who use uber just to work because they don't have a car, suspended license

there some people who use it everytime they go out on the weekend, etc

not every single person is going to be your customer

you can easily find 4-5 people like this who routinely use it, and just serve them, if do it long enough can find 10 regulars

You're dumb as fukk, you don't have a mind state of business person, you don't know how cash flow works

that's why you can never work for yourself and will always need a job

If got 10 people giving you at least 20 dollars a day

120 per person a week, times ten is 1200 a week, and you won't have to spend that much time that money

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
This YT comment sums it up:

This driver is correct. You've lost my business (to Lyft and Cabs) because I felt so guilty for how little money the Uber drivers made. You do not include a tip option (I always tip in cash, unless I don't have it on hand). With Lyft, I can tip them. You aren't paying your drivers a living wage. You've made a Huge mistake on taking your business on the lowest margins (for the drivers, not you). And, after you watching you drunk in an uber, and blaming the driver, I'm done with you Uber. Lyft (and cabs) all the way. This driver was totally right. You had the business in your hands and you made bad choices, and, evidently, you're kind of an a$$hole.

This person is idiotic.

They feel bad about how much Uber drivers make so they make it even worse by not using Uber which hurts the drivers even more.

And Uber drivers don't get paid a wage.

you will not keep a single loyal customer. the moment someone calls you and you can't accomodate, they will never call you again. in fact no one is going to call you to begin with because you bring zero value to the table and there's no reason for them not to use uber and lyft.

but good luck bro. sounds like you got it all figured out. if you're still posting here in a year feel free to post your 1099 so you can show me how I wrong I was.

People are already doing this so you are wrong lmao

Why wouldn't you be able to serve 10 people, it's up to you to select the right people to fill around your schedule, it's called being organized

also part of being self employed is selling yourself, that's the difference than having a job, it's up to you close customers and get them to want to deal with you

I learned all this being a salesman it's skill, you have to personable, people like would prefer to deal with the same person than someone random

Also you can work for concert promoters and pick up performers from the airport, etc

You don't know anything about the transportation industry to make a comment, stop being ignorant, I already do this shyt for a side hustle, I don't even drive myself I just own vehicle and pay people to drive when I have jobs

I didn't invent this, lots of people do it, I quick google search you can find companies in your area

Airport Service – Homepage | My Private Driver

this for an example

You can start one of this yourself, first you get a black sedan, get a couple clients, like the promoters I spoke of, or a corporation we flies in clients etc

Then you get another car so you scale your business, then you get a limo, then a party bus, etc

All you think of is how something won't work not how it will work
that's why you'll never be shyt

I'm not sure it's that simple in some states they have laws in place that create monopolies for cab companies.

You can get chauffeurs license in any state, and they can't stop anyone from hiring a private driver

you can make your own transportation company, you're not cab service

obviously there is nothing stopping you from opening your own business. but people who enlist in private transportation are higher income clientele and NOT your typical uber customer. no one who meets you in the backseat of an uber is gonna call u for all their rides just cause you're a nice guy. you can't offer what uber is offering.

you're gonna have to prospect new clients, advertise your business, network with other professionals...not to mention compete with all the other private transports. it's not nearly as easy as you made it seem in your first post and there's no way you're going to build a customer base off UBER passengers.

The UBER CEO USES UBERand he's rich

LMAO

Since when do rich people don't use UBER

Uber is expensive to use lmao, especially XL and the black car lmoa

stop replying, you're embarrassing yourself

also you can scale to your own ability

you can 20 dollars a day from 10 people and make 200 a day
that's better than any bullshyt job you can get

if you want to take it to the next level then you can invest in multiple vehicles or better vehicles

again you're one person. you cannot be everywhere at once.

uber is literally everywhere at once.

what are you pitching? why is someone better off calling you directly instead of uber?

Uber is a god status coming from someone who lives in a major city :blessed:

It aint my fault you use Uber as a full time job :what: All the ubers I've been in are people using it as a side hustle (supplementary income), which is what the CEO should of said:dame:

Nevermind your not listening

where did I say you need to be everywhere once

you only need to 5-10 regulars, that's easy for one person to do, you'll make more money because you are getting paid directly instead from uber

You're cutting out the middle man, uber isn't always available when you need it depending on where you are, and their prices surge, almost is better to have a ride arrange if you constantly need a ride

you're not competing with uber, you're offering a private service to someone else, I already explained this

people have been doing this before uber existed, and continue to do so, it's nothing new

IT'S CALLED A CHAUFFEUR

DUMB ASS

You can offer them a cheaper rate than Uber, etc
plus you will save them the hassle for having to use uber because their ride is already arranged
at a time

like I said you're too dumb to grasp any concept of the service industry, so you will never grasp it
that's why you could never do it, even though people do everyday

Everything I'm saying already is happening lmao
you don't need uber to get paid to drive people around lmao

so again answer my simple question.

one of those 5-10 'regulars' calls you for a ride and they need you to be there by 5pm. only you're already driving someone else around on the other side of town and you won't be free until 7pm. what do you do?

WHY wouldn't they just use ANY other car service? uber, lyft, etc.
