It's always amusing watching people who aren't out there in the streets telling people who are out there in the streets making money what they are doing wrong :pachaha:@MasterTeacher I have a friend that leases cars to Uber Drivers. He charges $200-250/week and he has no shortage of demand. The transportation industry is only for those who understand the game, don't waste your time arguing with idiots breh :obama:
I can't speak on the overall viability, but most of my friends have a go to driver that we initially found after taking an Uber black car and he passed us his card. He's eating in these streets on his own. Seems to be the better way to go if you're looking to control your own destiny.

Some nikkaz are made to be workers. :francis: A successful Uber driver is not an employee, he's a businessman. Uber just provides a platform for you to run with.

the internet
you're here talking about converting uber customers into private customers but you aren't offering the same service. you're one guy. people will continue to use uber for the convenience. no one is going to use you privately and work around your schedule.

"Sorry honey master teacher said he just sat down to have lunch. Looks like we have to wait..."
fam...I rarely take Uber, but ive already ran into two Uber drivers doing exactly what Master Teacher is talking about.
They spark up a convo w/ you...and then hand you a card with their number.
You can call them direct to schedule a ride.

Its not that hard.
It just takes a little thought.

When you get to the point that youre booked up...you bring someone else on.
Next thing you know...you can have a fleet of drivers.

These types of threads cause arguments because of the differences in how people think.
Entrepreneurial types will ALWAYS try and figure out a way for them to get ahead.
While those who are used to working jobs will only be able to relate to the driver.

The Uber CEO fuked up with how he was talking to dude...he should have just stayed calm and thanked dude for his input...no reason to argue with the driver.

The driver has to realize that HE made the decision to buy a new car.
Its a bad decision...the Uber model is convenient for the customer...but not a long term option for the people working in the system.

People who want to drive full time should do exactly what Master Teacher is talking about...
...Use Uber as a gateway to their own driving service.

I guess the uber CEO should just do whatever his employees want so they can go out of business and they all lose their jobs anyway?

And why is it 'reprehensible' that he came from a prestigious background? His grandparents were immigrants and came to this country at the bottom of the ladder so that their future generations would have a chance. Looks like he's just cashing in.

And sure he might have had access to opportunities, but you don't get to where he is by accident. You make it sound like he slept through class and got handed billions of dollars to start a company.

Its not the CEO's fault that the driver put all his eggs in this basket, a job that requires no skill and can be done by anyone. And I think it's odd that anyone here would trust his business acumen over the guy in the backseat who actually built the company.

rich people aren't always the enemy.
Always easier to blame someone else.

I actually feel bad for the CEO

He was polite with the dude, kept it respectful and actually tried to explain the rationale of his decisions to a fukking driver.

How many CEO's of large companies would actually do that? :francis:

The driver just wasn't trying to hear it, then starts pointing at the dude talking about, "I'm $94k in debt cause of you" like what? :why:

Soceity as a collective is just so fukking ignorant about big business and spiteful of rich people, they'll latch on to anything they can to bring a succesful man down. It's just so weird and sad at the same time.

CEO deserves a medal in my opinion, I know if I were in his shoes, I would have told the driver to "lodge a complaint with the help desk" ......in other words, "fukk off :camby:"

Hell, I might have straight up told him to fukk off anyway. I'm the CEO, I don't gotta explain shyt to a fukking driver:rudy:

Driver is an idiot.
He lost 90k in money and stayed with Uber while being disgruntled?

If i was in the car id tell him off.
Nobody is forcing him to be an uber driver.
