This is one of the most unintelligent boycotts I've ever seen. I am all for immigration rights and what the strike represented but Uber didn't come out in support of Trump, they just chose not to inconvenience the public as a PR move.

The taxi company def did it for positive publicity. The bold is what I saw it as too , but I just read the statement Uber released a little while ago. They threw Pepsi and other companies who are working with trump under the bus I doubt people are going to boycott pepsi and every other business. He is the pres and powerful, they are top brands and do business worlwide, so maybe they have to be involved with him.
Just bc he has to communicate with Trump doesn't mean he supports everything that trump stands for. It seems like just business to me.
