Kayne ruined Blood On The Leaves with his over excessive auto tuning at the end trying to freaking harmonize with he melody. I was like "nikka, ok! Shut Up! Got damn!

I thought it was a great tribute to the sample it gives the original shine and makes its own twist to

it goes against my artistic principals, imo if ur gonna use a powerful sample you should incorperate it into your song, to me a sample should be fused with the entire song, essentially basing the song around the sample, they should match in mood, texture, etc. Unless your just throwing in samples like a short exerpt from a song or maybe a light sample in the background, but to just take a sample and just put it in your song on its own, with no supporting instruments or anything, i hate that because then it does seem like stealing music

and its fukking strange fruit, if your gonna sample that you better be making some shyt on the level of power or like crack music, idk it should be powerful and not about bytches
