That's your take on the situation. However those of us who know some the history of Tariq's questionable tactics & past dealings with certain individuals might beg to differ.
The nikka got interviewed, got paid, and had his career jump started because of it.
All this doesn't preclude or eliminate the fact that Tariq was being unprofessional & acting like a disrespectful diva (allegedly), which is partly Umar point.
This whole shyt is a desperate cry for attention and any money he can get before he ultimately disappears cuz let’s be real—he’s not building no school. He’s been talking about this bullshyt school for 5 years already.
The beef between Tariq & Umar regarding Umar's sentiments based on how he feels Tariq disrespected him and Umar being a fraud not delivering on his promises for a school are TWO separate issues all together.
That’s absolutely what’s happening. You don’t sit on these juelzing “gripes” for 6 years and then all of a sudden spark a beef just as soon as your license is up for review.
This is a stupid fallacy because Umar bringing up his disdain for Tariq and causing a public firestorm now certainly isn't going to help or be a positive circumstance in regards to his license not being revoked.

So since he didn’t get interviewed at the correct time, and wasn’t told he was in the film he was so offended yet sat on thess pressing issues he had with Tariq for 6 years and did 2 more movies afterwards?/
Get that wax buildup out of your ears because Umar already explained why he didn't say anything about his past issues with Tariq. However, unlike you I'm open-minded and unbiased which is why I previously stated that Umar was an idiot for being involved in the other 2 HC movies after he felt he was being treated unfairly & that he should have been a man and talked with Tariq upfront if he thought some type of way about Tariq personally instead of being passive aggressive with sly disses.

Janky would be him not getting paid and not in the credits—not him getting interviewed, paid, and having his entire career rebooted.

Umar was so offended at the “janky” and “shady” business Tariq was doing yet he did 3 movies and sat on the problems for 6 years right before his license is being taken away...

So he wasn't a nobody or unknown...
The fact that Umar went on to do 2 more HC documentaries has nothing to do with his issue about the original HC1 and how the situation transpired to where he had no idea & wasn't informed that he was going to actually be in HC1.
The real receipts you also need to check are those of me on this forum being critical & calling out Umar Johnson so you can miss me with this bullshyt because no one is above
