Under what rationale, should Tariq Nasheed make a FREE documentary?

nobody would have a problem if he wasn't asking for money from the same people who have to pay for it

if i go watch a michael moore doc... i have to pay for it.. but he didn't ask everyone to donate to make it, so i know he's gotta get that money back

if i go watch hidden colors... i have to pay for it... but i might have already donated 100 to making it... plus another couple thousand people did too.... so why are you charging me the same exact amount as michael moore?

i could see if he did it like spike lee or the shenmue game or the tlc album... you donate but you get something out of it... a free copy... a signed cd... a meet and greet

you got dudes donating $100 and loop around and charge them another 19.99
bruh...at $50, you get a fukking DVD. :mindblown:

:jbhmm:Real talk, do y'all actually think Netflix or Viceland would touch Tariq's documentaries AS IS? I've noticed that iTunes still only has the 1st "Hidden Colors" movie. As popular as the "Hidden Colors" series dvds are on Amazon, they don't sell/rent a digital version of them on Amazon Video. Vimeo is the only service that you can buy/rent digital versions of the "Hidden Colors" sequels. Also Tariq said he put the crowdfunding for this movie on Indiegogo, because Kickstarter was :whoa: when it came to this movie.

So I don't think Tariq's documentaries would accepted on white media outlets as is.
I strongly believe Kickstarter was hesitant because a lot of people probably complained about not receiving their incentives in a timely manner if at all. There's nothing bad about this documentary to make them not want a piece of the money.

You also get a DVD at 19.99 if you don't donate. What kind of deal is that :russ:

Hey donate 50 dollars and when I buy this ounce, I'll give you a dime brehs

But don't you have enough money for an ounce already :patrice:

Yea but do you ask the Asian man if he has enough money for his egg drop soup? This is capitalism. Just give me the 50 for group economics :dame:

so he should only use his money?

Billionaire movie directors don't even do that.

He makes more money off the relationship shyt, he's turned down multiple mainstream looks on the relationship front to do the Black empowerment lane. He's LOSING money by doing the Pro Black shyt.

He's not losing money... No one perpetuates a losing investment/venture...... someone is lying to yall
