Most documentaries that set out to inform are non-profit.

If he is in fact trying to help and inform people, then he shouldn't also be trying to make a profit off of it.

We all know money corrupts, so if the ultimate goal is to make money(which is fine) then he shouldn't be claiming that his goal is to help and inform.

Group economics is simply a group of people supporting each other. Getting a direct return on a donation to a movie(most are just donating small amounts of money) isn't the only way that people besides dude come up. When his documentaries come out, the black scholars featured benefit, the books stores and other black venues that distribute the product benefit, promoters who do the screenings benefit, the vendors at the events for the screening benefit, ect. That's group economics you stupid son of a bytch. I went to a screening of HC4 this past summer and the event was packed. There were black vendors coming in from other cities just to work that event. After the screening that hundreds attended, cats literally sat around meeting greeting and networking. The positive energy alone made the event worth attending.
