Unfortunately, this type of stuff is too common at HBCU's

Covid prevented them from sending emails or making calls that the dorms weren't ready? Like I previously said, at least let them know beforehand. Some of those rooms were god awful and no where near being ready a week or two ago.

I get it, we're in a pandemic but there's literally no excuse for not alerting the parents and students. It's one thing to be behind schedule but it's another to be behind schedule and not inform the people showing up expecting what they paid for.

Sounds like they did, that's how they knew it would be off campus housing. The students and parents just aren't happy about the location which is understandable.

"For nearly a year, buses were virtually empty in Montgomery. Boycott supporters walked to work--as many as eight miles a day"

It’s not a smear campaign it’s calling out a failure.

Theres a psychology behind this.
I feel this is like when people go on Facebook and tell about their awful experience they had with black businesses.
Some people just expect more because they feel as though they are doing you a favor by dealing with a black business:mjpls:
When they could go somewhere else for a better or equal price, more convienient.
People go out of their way to say how horrible service at a black businesses was,but get shytty service at the Chinese Restaurant,Arab Gas Station ,Mcdonalds and Walmart on the daily they never report. We have to ask ourselves, how many of these students/parents waited til the last minute to handle business? How many students wait til the last minute to go to financial aid offices? I don't know,I'm just asking because that can effect traffic in lines, and the ability of the HBCU to handle their business:hubie:?

Also I'm not really defending HBCU's or black businesses,I don't truly believe in them and see them as somewhat pointless once the student leaves the school.

Elaborate

Black colleges are good for black students, its good for their mental health to be around black people. Not have to worry about racism, having any insecurities etc. But once they leave they likely will be seeking employment with whoever can pay the most which will probably be a European. I'm pretty sure their curriculum doesn't preach seperatism or true knowledge of self. Seems to be more about black elitism/boule mentalities than actual black upliftment. These schools are assimilation/indoctrination camps as much as white schools. No different than the all black public schools you went to your whole life.

Theres no such thing as a black business in the white mans domain. All that money going right back to the European banks that fund your oppression. The business owners should at least be held to a higher level of conscience then the consumer whos probably going out of their way, paying higher prices to support a black business, but they aren't. Alot of times they taking that "black money" and going right to a white neighborhood with it,sending their kids to white schools, not circulating that money among other black business themselves. You think they ain't getting the cheapest prices for they supplies:usure:?
