It’s here already. Mayor of Stockton (black man Stanford grad) has implemented for several months with very interesting results. Not sure how to execute on a national scale given the structural problems in the US but I’m all for it.

Exactly, but it is in a lot of places. Even 40% is way higher than peasants were paying back in the dark ages.
