Yeah I'm sure it'll affect inflation. More money circulating and being printed raises inflation and decreases the value of the dollar.

Dude I worked for DHS and specifically ICE during the Obama Administration. He had very little impact on the increase in deportations. I never once heard about any directives from his administration while working there. If he didn't cut or increase funding for ICE he had nothing to do with the deportation numbers. What probably boosted the numbers is more local police partnering with ICE. I saw that first hand in my state during that time.

UBI, affordable housing, universal healthcare and a host of additional safety nets are rejected by Republicans and Democrats alike because they could benefit black people. As long as we live here, as long as our numbers are still high enough to pose a direct threat to white supremacy, staunch opposition to measures which might mitigate our economic disrepair will always encounter difficulty gaining traction with the majority.

By the end of this month almost half if not more than half of people will be unemployed, broke and very scared not just for their livelihood but for their very lives. Giving people some paltry $1200 for just one month which btw they won’t be seeing for weeks isn’t going to do shyt to calm them.

Introduce UBI asap or else what happens if people snap will be way worse than whatever this virus brought.
