it sounds kind of goofy but we will get used to it, at least theres a distinction in world titles if they are gonna split 2 main titles for 2 shows

to me TV title is still the corniest championship name in wrestling ... the concept of a champion having to defend his title every week is dope, but the television champion? he is the champion of all televisions?

wrestling can get away with the corn at times

They are now calling the WWE Title the WWE World Title.

It's like that for the Superstar champions page on WWE.com and on the front talking about Smackdown.

Don't like the name. The announcer announcing the "universal champion of the world" doesn't sound right to me. I'll give it 6 months tops before this ends up as the Smackdown title and they bring the "real" world title back to Raw.

They won't say "of the world."

Plus they are going to refer the WWE Title as the WWE World Title.

They could've called it the Global Championship (I know TNA title) but it could've been an excuse to use this again

The design was underrated

This along with the big gold belt were my favorites.

They're not going back to the Big Gold belt cause that title will always be synonymous with WCW and they spent a very long time shytting on WCW. There surely will be a brand new design.
