Like I mentioned in one of their threads, I’m not mad is somebody thinks it’s better, but Alfredo 2 starts to just blend into one another song after song as you’re listening, and you can kind of zone out as it fades into the background. Can’t say that about Let God Sort Em Out. Every single is individually distinctive. Gibbs also possibly has 4 better albums than this one, including Alfredo 1. Either way, we’re still talking about two top tier rap albums instead of crying defeatist music.

Not gonna lie...Alfredo has almost made me stop listening to LGSEO altogether. The replay value on Alfredo 2 is crazy. Ran this back so damn much and my Vodka Sauce vinyl coming this week.

I ended up getting the TTLB Marinara/Oxblood one. Just came in yesterday.

I don’t even want to crack the plastic yet. I need a second copy, lol.

It’s facts. Pharrell got in his bag on a lot of those tracks but he was also the worst part on some in my opinion. Clipse are on a different level when it comes to pure lyricism and rhyme schemes but Alfredo 2 is a better listen start to finish.

Ya'll need to learn how to enjoy music that isn't made by Alchemist.

Clipse album is a lot more interesting musically than Alfredo 2. My problem with Alchemist these days is too many of the beats are kinda airy and etherial. They lack melody. It kinda just turns into background music. I still like it but what Pharrell is doing is a lot more dynamic and varied.

Bars wise there is no contest. Both Malice and Pusha got several verse of the year contenders on there. Gibbs is spitting too but the Clipse album is like a rap powerhouse performance.

So far I like LGSEO better, that being said i have only listened to Alfredo fully through once so far.

The first half rides but I haven't got around to the second half again yet.
