Unpopular opinion: Alfredo 2 is more fun to listen to than Let God Sort Em Out

Clipse album is a lot more interesting musically than Alfredo 2. My problem with Alchemist these days is too many of the beats are kinda airy and etherial. They lack melody. It kinda just turns into background music. I still like it but what Pharrell is doing is a lot more dynamic and varied.

Bars wise there is no contest. Both Malice and Pusha got several verse of the year contenders on there. Gibbs is spitting too but the Clipse album is like a rap powerhouse performance.

It’s a decent album but I really wouldn’t blink an eye if I went into a random semi upscale restaurant and heard these beats… I look in the corner and see Gibbs scathing his lyrics over them shyts wearing a tux.

My Sentiments are the same. You Only Die 1nce is a better overall project to me.

I'm listening to Alfredo 2 more, I can vibe to the whole thing. Its an amazing listening experience.

LGSEO has better standout tracks but also a few beats and hooks that I don't want to hear again. The weak tracks are mostly Pharrell doing too much, but the tracks that work are some of the best Hip Hop songs in years.

So as an album I go with Alfredo 2, but Clipse have higher highs and lower lows.

I love the Clipse album and really like Alfredo 2.

I listen to the clipse album more...but both are dope. They're nothing alike, so I just enjoy them both. I like the Clipse album better because of the bars.

I don’t have a problem with either album. I can appreciate both of them. I came from an era where we had no choice but to appreciate all albums. People weren’t holding their album release back so Jay-Z can have the summer lol

Both albums are dope and i’ve been spinning both plus Raekwon’s album for my rotation. But this Clipse album is something SPECIAL whereas Gibbs & Alch is just more of the same Gibbs & Alch. Its good, bordering on great but Let God Sort Em Out is FLAWLESS
