New reality with climate change. This will be more common in the 2030s into the 2040s. There will be mass exits from the southwest as water becomes more more scarce. Places like Phoenix and Las Vegas will be abandoned as water scarcity and extreme heat makes life there unlivable. We are ever closer to the 2 degrees celsius which will have catastrophic ramifications and feedback loops. Mind you we are already at 1.5 degrees Celsius. 3 degrees is basically hell on Earth. Once all the arctic ice is gone shyt will hit the fan. 2050 is fukked. There is a lag in carbon emissions output to full impact on climate for several decades. The emissions we need to stop over the next decade will stop the damage in the 2080s and beyond. Basically our kids and grandkids will be living in that hell scape.
